Counseling Groups

Education and Skill building for children, teens and parents of individuals with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder

We are currently accepting intakes for three new groups. Each prospective participant will complete a full intake to ensure placement in the group that will be most beneficial. If you are interested in joining a group or would like more information, please contact us to get started. All intakes must be completed by January 5, 2026, in order to begin the groups on January 17.

Building Social Skills

for kids and teens with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder

Skills groups for kids and teens with autism and ADHD offer a structured, supportive setting where young people can build practical coping tools while practicing social skills. In these groups participants learn emotion regulation, ADHD-management techniques, and problem-solving strategies through guided role-plays and real-life practice. This increases confidence and reduces isolation. Small-group feedback helps generalize skills to school and home environments, improves communication, and promotes resilience by normalizing challenges and celebrating progress.

Participants will be matched with the group that best fits their needs and developmental level, after an intake assessment is completed.

Fees:

Intake session $50

groups sessions $25 per session

Groups will run for 8 weeks beginning January 17th. Time TBD

Social Anxiety Support

for kids and teens

Kids and teens today face unique social anxiety challenges as technology reshapes how they connect. Constant online comparison, rapid shifts in social norms, and the pressure to perform on digital platforms can heighten fear of judgment and isolation. Support groups offer a safe space of real life engagement to practice social skills and exchange practical coping strategies. Engaging with peers can normalizes a teens experience. Group participation can build routine, accountability, and gradual confidence while helping youth move toward more comfortable, authentic social engagement both online and offline.

Parent and Caregiver Support

Caring for those with non-verbal or non-speaking autism

Caring for someone with non‑verbal, level 3 autism is profoundly demanding (physically, emotionally, and mentally). Caregivers often face chronic stress, isolation, and burnout. A counseling support group offers a vital lifeline by connecting caregivers with peers who truly understand the daily realities. Allowing for a safe, and nonjudgmental space to express grief, frustration, and fear. This group will focus on building self care routines and stress‑management techniques, while helping to build a community of people who can relate to your own experience. The mutual encouragement and shared resources foster resilience, restore perspective, and help caregivers preserve their own well‑being so they can continue offering compassionate and effective care.
